Mark your calendar for the Special Education Director/ Coordinator Winter Workshop. This workshop will focus on need to know topics for a strong finish to the year while preparing for next year's great start. 

• Learn about best practice on recruiting, hiring and retaining the best in special education staff. 
• Get innovative ideas on how to engage parents. 
• Hear up-to-date information from ODE staff. 
• There will be a special focus for new (year one to three) directors/coordinators. 

On Friday, February 13, the department and COSA co-sponsored a very successful special education directors workshop here in Salem.
