David Douglas School District Director of Multilingual Programs and Equity Presented with the 2023 Leadership Impact Award

The Coalition of Oregon School Administrators has named Kelly Devlin, Director of Multilingual Programs and Equity for the David Douglas School District, the recipient of the 2023 COSA Leadership Impact Award for her dedication and service to Multilingual students and families. Devlin was presented with the award at the COSA Multilingual & English Learner Conference in Eugene, Oregon on March 10th.

Gustavo Balderas, Superintendent of the Beaverton School District, named AASA 2023-2024 President-Elect

Congratulations to Dr. Gustavo Balderas, Superintendent of the Beaverton School District, who has been selected as the AASA President-Elect for 2023-2024.  

Dr. Balderas was named AASA Superintendent of the year in 2020, and NABE National Bilingual Superintendent of the year in 2023. He believes in supporting strong leadership in the superintendency and knows strong district and school leadership is directly related to equitable student outcomes.
