I’ve been honored to work with St. Helens School District for the past 23 years, where I have served as a Special Education Teacher, a Special Education Coordinator and, for the past 8 years, as the Director of Student Services. My passion is working and advocating for students who have been historically marginalized.
Taylor is the newest member of The Hungerford Law Firm, where her practice will focus on special education law. Taylor has previously practiced both family law and housing law in Oregon. A native Oregonian, Taylor received her undergraduate degree from Northwestern University and her J.D. from the University of Oregon School Law.
Joel has represented districts around the state in due process hearings and appeals. Joel also routinely assists districts with internal and external investigations related to, including handling complaints before the Oregon Department of Education and Federal Office of Civil Rights, as well as assisting in internal complaints filed directly with the school district.
