This morning, at the AASA National Conference on Education in San Diego, Shelly Reggiani, Ed. D., was given the AASA National Women in Education Leadership Award. Dr. Reggiani is the Executive Director of Equity and Instructional Services in the North Clackamas School District and was selected as the winner of the “Central Office Administrator/Principal” category for leadership, communication skills, professionalism, and community involvement.
On Thursday, February 13th Eugene School District’s Gustavo Balderas was named 2020 National Superintendent of the Year by the American Association of School Administrators at the organization’s National Conference on Education in San Diego.
“Gustavo is the definition of a humble servant leader – never asking for recognition or the spotlight – always working to make sure that others are served and lifted up,” said Craig Hawkins, Executive Director of COSA, at the award ceremony. “We are proud and excited that this well-deserved spotlight shines on him today.”
We at COSA are saddened to hear the news of Concordia University-Portland's closure effective the end of April 2020. This is, no doubt, a very difficult time for staff and students.
