Executive Summary 

Objective: To provide beginning Oregon Superintendents an opportunity to create a collaborative learning network focused on key leadership skills and practical strategies to help improve their individual school districts.  Participants will attend a series of workshops throughout the 2018-19 school year, scheduled in conjunction with key COSA events and conferences.

The Oregon Association of Central Office Administrators has planned a series of three seminars during the 2018-19 school year. This seminar series is designed to provide timely professional development and networking support to central office administrators.

The results of the Teaching, Empowering, Leading, and Learning (TELL) Survey were released on Monday by the Oregon Chief Education Office at the Oregon Department of Education.

Educator responses to the survey indicated that they perceive improvements in access to technology and professional learning, but challenges related to student conduct.This year, a record 19,000 educators participated in the survey which is conducted every two years across the state.
