As we reflect upon the past events of isolation, we have had to unlearn and relearn at an accelerated pace. Those moments caused us to come together, learn together and move forward together so our scholars grow together. As a collective, we have the potential to create positive change and it will take intentional steps toward building a sense of community, collaboration, capacity, connection and creativity. Dr. Jacqueline Sanderlin is an accomplished educator, leadership guru and author.

This session will be a deeper-dive of the keynote presentation. Participants will learn how to go beyond the brain’s natural tendency to focus on “what’s not working” to experience greater joy and gratitude. Attendees will receive tools and social emotional learning strategies to support connection, collaboration and how to more consistently and reliably “call out the good.”

We often go from “putting out one fire to the next”, which can leave us drained or unaware of all that’s going well in our day to day. This keynote will empower participants to intentionally create space for reflection and to celebrate all of the hard work and the heart-work of the school year. Specific emphasis will be placed on collaborating with each other and reconnecting to our purpose and the legacy we want to leave as educators and administrators.
