Ryan Carpenter has been an educator and leader for 14 years and has served as the superintendent of the Estacada School District since 2017. For the past three years, the Estacada School District has pursued sustaining high levels of improvement science methodology and has collaborated with Studer Education since 2019. Carpenter's leadership has received recognition as the 2016 Oregon Future Business Leaders of America Principal of the Year. Also in 2016, he was recognized as a school emergency preparedness leader by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
