Barbara Chester is a 40 year veteran of public education, including working the last four years as a leadership coach and consultant for school in improvement.  She started as an elementary teacher and served for 29 years as an elementary principal in six schools in Washington, Colorado and Oregon.  During her professional career, Barbara has been actively involved with professional administrative associations, including serving as state representative and OESPA president.  Beyond Oregon, she served on the Board of Directors and as president of  NAESP.  “Giving back
